Burlington, Ia- For the past several weeks, detectives with the Burlington Police Department has been following up on information pertaining to stolen motor vehicles in and around the greater Burlington area.
During the course of the investigation, detectives identified several persons of interest.
On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 detectives charged an area juvenile with Theft 2nd Degree and Carrying Weapons in relation to this ongoing investigation.
The juvenile is being held at the Southern Iowa Area Juvenile Detention Center in Montrose pending a court appearance.
This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
