Sandra Jean Mutchler, 83, of Burlington died November 19, 2020 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born July 14, 1937 in Burlington, Iowa she was the daughter of Esther (Wolf) Turner. She married Charles Mutchler Jr. on April 14, 1956 in Monmouth, Illinois. He died September 7, 1975.
Sandra worked as a nurse’s aide at Great River Medical Center, at the Christian Book Store and sold Stanley, Avon and Tupperware independently.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two sons; Darrell Lee Mutchler and Charles Joseph Mutchler; one daughter Brenda Sue Mutchler; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Turner and James Turner; two sisters Lavonne Underwood and Kayleen Welsh and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter Cheryl Renee Cantebury.
The funeral service for Mrs. Mutchler will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24th at First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at church. Due to the recent pandemic masks and social distancing requirements will be enforced.

Richard M. Poulter, 93, of Fort Madison, IA died at 3:10p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home.
He was born April 11, 1927 in Quincy, IL, the son of Virgil and Hazel Booher Poulter. On June 8, 1951, he married Elsie Mae Lowman in Dallas City, IL.
Richard served in the US Army from 1949 – 1956 and attained the rank of Sgt 1st Class. He worked for Union Electric for 37 ½ years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the LaHarpe Masonic Lodge and the Past Time Club of Fort Madison. Dick enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Randy (Cindy) Poulter of Montrose, IA and Kendall (Ann) Poulter of Purcellville, VA, two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Shirley Lieurance and Bonnie Sue Kershner, both of Burlington, IA and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and four sisters.
A graveside service, with military rites, will be held at 10:30a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Harris Cemetery near Dallas City with Pastor Leslie Dalstra officiating. A memorial fund has been established for the Shriner’s Hospital For Children or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

John F. Siegworth, 88, of LaHarpe, IL, died at 6:18p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.
He was born in Terre Haute Township, Illinois on December 7, 1931, the son of John and Anna Bailey Siegworth. On June 28, 1953 he married Joan Bell in the LaHarpe Christian Church.
John was a lifelong farmer. He graduated from the Terre Haute, Illinois High School. He was a 4-H Leader, a former Henderson County ASC Board Member and sold Moews Seed Corn for over 60 years. He was also a member of the LaHarpe Lions Club and the LaHarpe Christian Church where he had served as Deacon.
Surviving are his wife, three children, Cindy (Robert) Bruns of Louisville, IL, Greg (Rita) Siegworth of LaHarpe and Lori (Jim) Smith of Pecatonica, IL, 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and his special dog, Hershey.
A private family graveside service will be held Friday at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Nate McCarter officiating. Diana T. Irish, 87, of LaHarpe, IL died Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, IL.
She was born May 27, 1933 in LaHarpe, the daughter of Ralph D. and Emma L. Blaul Todd. On July 23, 1952 she married Theodore “Ted” Irish on July 23, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1995.
Diana graduated from LaHarpe High School in 1951 and was valedictorian of her class. She then attended Knox College in Galesburg, IL. She was President of LaHarpe Telephone Company from 1975 – 1998. Diana served as president of the Western Illinois University Foundation from 1991 – 1993. She was a member of the D.A.R., the Mother’s Club and the LaHarpe Union Church, where she was active on various boards and committees. She was also a member and past president of the Chapter B.O of the LaHarpe P.E.O. Diana enjoyed music, traveling, her dogs and was an avid photographer. She admired the southwest Indian culture.
Surviving are three children, Todd (Cindy) Irish of LaHarpe, Gina (Gary Cook) Irish of Overland Park, KS and Mark (Patty) Irish of LaHarpe, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Lisa Irish, her parents and one half sister, Jean Gessner.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private family graveside service will be held at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Goettsche officiating. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established in her memory for the Wesley Village Retirement Home, LaHarpe Ambulance Service or the Ted Irish Scholarship Fund.
