West Burlington police arrest three, seize stolen firearms and narcotics

West Burlington, Ia-  The West Burlington Police Department has arrested three West Burlington residents on multiple charges.

According to a news release on Thursday, December 10th, at approximately 1038 PM

West Burlington Police were on routine patrol when they heard shots fired in the area of the 200-block of Ballard Street.

Responding officers located two individuals at the scene, three shell casings, and narcotics on the ground. Officers conducted a search warrant at 221 Ballard Street.

Inside the residence, officers located a wanted subject, multiple stolen firearms with ammunition, and narcotics.

West Burlington Police were assisted by the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office and the Burlington Police Department.

Those arrested includes:

Gilbert Lee Ellis, age 33, West Burlington Iowa:

  • Seven counts of possession of a firearm by a felon
  • Two counts of theft in the third degree
  • Theft in the fourth degree
  • Maintaining a drug house

Jasmin Latise Holloman, age 31, West Burlington Iowa

  • Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance
  • Two counts of theft in the third degree
  • Theft in the fourth degree
  • Reckless use of a firearm
  • Maintaining a drug house

Christopher Jerome Ellis Jr, age 31, West Burlington Iowa

  • Probation violation
  • Seven counts of possession of a firearm by a felon
  • Two counts of theft in the third degree
  • Theft in the fourth degree
  • Possession of a controlled substance 3rd Offense
