West Burlington, Ia- The West Burlington ABB (GE) Plant will be closing in 2021.
An anonymous source informed KBUR that employees were told on Thursday, December 17th that the West Burlington Plant would be closing sometime in 2021.
ABB officials later confirmed in a media release that the plant, which employs about 400 people, would be closing before the end of June 2021.
The release states that employees, “will receive a severance package, outplacement support and may be able to relocate to other ABB locations.”
