Burlington man sentenced for selling methamphetamine in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids, Ia-  A Burlington man was sentenced to 12 years in prison after being arrested with 10 pounds of methamphetamine in Cedar Rapids.

TV station KCRG reports that 40-year-old Malk Buchanan plead guilty to possession with intent to distribute meth back in July.

Buchanan was arrested while delivering meth to the Cedar Rapids area, reportedly charging $5,000 per pound.

The officers who arrested Buchannan found 10 pounds of pure methamphetamine in Buchanan’s car.
