Burlington, Ia- Des Moines County Conservation has announced that the annual Bald Eagle watch will still be taking place later this month.
The event, which is designed to learn about and observe bald eagle migration, will take place on January 23rd, with two programs from 10:00 am-11:00 am and 11:30 am-12:30 pm at Lock and Dam 18. After a brief program on eagles by special guest Lori Carnes, attendants will be observing bald eagles.
