Burlington, Ia- The Burlington Area United Way has surpassed its fundraising goal for 2021 of over $43,000 to help area nonprofits.
Board President Aaron Baltisberger told the Hawk Eye, “Surpassing this year’s campaign goal marks the 48th consecutive, successful United Way Campaign in our area.”
The campaign had achieved about 80% of its goal during a final push late last year. The funds will be used as support for local human service and health care industries that serve residents in United Way’s 40-mile service area.
