Donnelson man leads police on high-speed chase into Missouri

Keokuk, Ia-  An Iowa man led authorities on a high-speed chase that began in Iowa and went through Missouri.

According to Keokuk Police, the incident began Monday when a Keokuk Police Officer spotted a stolen vehicle and attempted to pull it over in the 2000 block of 7th street.  The driver, later identified as Seth Wright of Donnelson did not stop.

Wright sped away, reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour, and crossed state lines into Missouri.  He later led police back into Iowa over the St. Francisville Bridge.

Wright eventually stopped the car in the 2300 block of Carbide lane and attempted to run on foot.  Wright was arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Eluding Law Enforcement.
