Burlington, Ia-  Two popular events at Burlington Notre Dame will trade places for 2021.

Notre Dame Development Director Jon Billups said in an interview with KBUR “Everyone knows that we have our wonderful benefit auction Gods Portion Day is normally either in late March or early April.”  “Because that is a live, in-person event we are going to flip-flop that with our Pot O’ Blue and Gold Sales which is normally in the fall,” Billups said.

Billups says the events were changed in hopes that God’s Portion Day will be able to be held in-person by the fall.

“We really wanted to get back to having Gods Portion Day,” Billups Said.  “Last year we did it online and it just didn’t have the same family feel, and we want to continue that so we’re going to flip-flop them this year.”  “Hopefully by September or October the vaccinations will all be set and we’ll all be comfortable getting out amongst each other and we’ll have the event then,” Billups said.

Billups stated Pot O’ Blue n Gold tickets likely will go on sale sometime in February, with the drawing taking place in May. The Gods Portion Day event will take place sometime in the fall.
