Burlington, Ia- The Iowa City Veteran Administration Health Care System will open a new outpatient clinic in Burlington.
The clinic, to be opened at 1000 N. Roosevelt Ave., will offer VA care and services to local veterans, and is expected to open later in the year. Currently, the closest VA hospital to Burlington is located in Iowa City.
The Hawk Eye reports that the 3,200 square-foot clinic will allow VA the ability to grow Primary care as well as Mental Health care services to area vets adding convenience for patients and cutting down travel time.
A new VA clinic was also recently opened in Cedar Rapids.
