Burlington, Ia- Burlington schools had to once again be locked down due to a threatening message made towards a building.
On Thursday, school officials received a message indicating a threat made to Edward Stone Middle School. The building was put on lockdown and Burlington Police were notified. While the threat was being assessed, all other buildings were placed on stay put status.
Police assessed the situation and determined there was no actual threat.
This threat followed a threat made to Burlington High School on Wednesday, March 10th, which also resulted in schools being locked down.
