Des Moines, Ia- The Iowa Department of Public Health on Monday reported 172 additional positive COVID-19 cases.
According to the latest data on the state’s coronavirus tracking website, that brings the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa to 386,423 since the start of the pandemic. No additional deaths were reported meaning that the total number of deaths remained at 5,857.
Hospitalizations increased slightly with 220 total patients hospitalized with 56 in ICUs and 20 on ventilators.
As of Tuesday, a total of 1,876,843 COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered in Iowa.
