Burlington, Ia– The Burlington Bees will begin the 2021 season with new leadership at the helm in the front office.

The Burlington Baseball Association Board of Directors recently promoted Tad Lowary to Manager of Operations. Lowary has been employed with the Bees since 2019 as a Sales & Stadium Operations Executive.

Jill Mason has been promoted to Assistant Manager of Operations. Mason has volunteered with and worked for the Bees’ organization in a variety of capacities since 2004. She was most recently serving as the Director of Ticketing and Front Office Administrator for the last two seasons.

These promotions come on the heels of the resignation of Burlington Bees General Manager, Kim Parker, who is relocating to Arizona. Parker accepted a position with Major League Baseball as Regional Supervisor of the West.

“We are very sad to see Kim leave the organization and the community. Her dedication to Bees Baseball and her passion for it have led to many positive changes for the organization. She will be greatly missed,” said Board President Scott Zaiser.

Zaiser continued, “We are very excited to see the direction Tad and Jill move things forward. They have demonstrated a lot of energy. The Bees organization is undoubtedly in good hands.” Zaiser noted the Board of Directors will also continue to provide assistance and oversight during this time of transition.

The Burlington Bees are currently hiring for a full-time seasonal Stadium Operations position as well as for game day staff. Anyone interested should call 319-754-5705.
