Burlington, Ia- The Des Moines County Recorder’s resignation has been made official.
The Hawk Eye reports that DMC Recorder Lisa Hazell’s official letter of resignation was read and accepted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
The county recorder’s deputy, Natalie Steffener, will be sworn in as Hazell’s replacement on Tuesday, April 20th.
The County recorder is responsible for the issuing of licenses and permits.
