Chicago- Health officials in Illinois reported 1,918 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.
WGN reports that raises the total number of positive cases in Illinois since the start of the pandemic to 1,361,666.
35 additional deaths were also reported bringing that total to 22,320.
A total of 1,765 patients were hospitalized in Illinois with 465 in ICU’s and 236 on ventilators. A grand total of 10,179,004 vaccines have been administered in Illinois.
