Des Moines, Ia- The Iowa Department of Public health on Sunday reported an additional 12 deaths related to COVID-19.
According to the latest data on the state’s coronavirus tracking website, those deaths brought the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Iowa to 6,006 since the start of the pandemic.
33 positive cases were also reported, raising that total to 399,546.
137 residents were hospitalized Sunday with 41 in ICU’s and 14 on ventilators.
Over 2.6 million COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Iowa, with 1,164,344 residents being fully vaccinated.
