Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Sheriff’s office has announced the arrest of a Burlington man on an assault charge.
On Thursday, June 17th, 2021, deputies with the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 11912 DMC Highway 99, lot 69 in reference to an assault. Deputies were advised that 26-year-old Michael Vincent Jagerson Jr. of Burlington had walked up to someone on that house’s porch and assaulted them by striking them with his head.
The victim received facial injuries from the assault and went to Great River Medical Center for treatment.
On Friday, June 18th, deputies located Jagerson at DMC Highway 99 and Golf Course Road. He was placed under arrest for assault with intent to inflict serious injury. He was transported to the Des Moines County Jail and given a $2000 bond.
