Burlington, IA- The Burlington Fire Department has announced the retirement of Battalion Chief Bruce Workman.
In a post to social media, the department states that Chief Workman began his tenure with the Burlington Fire Department on September 4th, 1990, and has served in several different positions within the department.
The Fire Department will be hosting an open house for Chief Workman on Monday, June 28th, 2021, from 10 AM until Noon at Central Fire Station, 418 Valley Street at which Workman will receive his retirement proclamation.
The public is invited to attend the event.
