Iowa Army Ammunition Plant welcomes new commander

Middletown, IA-  The Iowa Army Ammunition Plant held a ceremony on Thursday to welcome its new commander.

The Burlington Beacon reports that Lt. Col. Jason P. Crist was named the plant’s new commander, replacing Lt. Col. Eric J. Schilling who commanded the plant for 2 years.

Crist has served in the Office of Business Transformation for the US Army, as well as Transportation and Distribution Coordinator for the national stockpile of ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic.
