Keokuk, IA- Police in Keokuk are seeking information regarding multiple shootings that took place on South 7th street Saturday night.
The Pen City Current reports that at about 8:31 PM Saturday, Keokuk Police responded to a report of a crash in the 1400 block of South 7th Street. An investigation revealed that the incident started in the 1000 block of Palen street. During the incident, an occupant of one of the vehicles involved in the wreck got out and approached the other car, then shots were allegedly fired.
The person then reentered a vehicle and sped off while being chased by two other vehicles. More shots were fired in the 600 block of South 5th Street, then in the 1600 block of South 7th Street after a multi-vehicle wreck.
No one was injured in the incident, and only one vehicle was hit by gunfire. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Keokuk Police Department.
