Springfield, Ill.- The Illinois Supreme Court has extended its moratorium on evictions in the state.
TV station KHQA reports that the temporary stay on evictions was extended through the 3rd of October, the same day Governor Pritzker’s moratorium expires.
Further rental assistance is scheduled to go out through the Court-Based Rental Assistance Program that was launched last week.
