Des Moines, IA-  The Iowa Democratic Party has filed an ethics complaint against an Iowa representative for failing to properly disclose her finances.

Tv station KHQA reports the complaint filed by the Democratic party accuses representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks of failing to properly disclose multiple personal financial statements.

Iowa Democratic Party chair Ross Wilburn said in a statement announcing the complaint that,  “Miller-Meeks doesn’t get to play by her own set of rules and breach ethics rules in the process. It’s high time she comes clean and stops hiding from the Iowans she represents.”

Miller-Meek’s office responded to the complaint by saying that she is working to fix the errors, and refers to the complaint as a “partisan attack.”
