Fort Madison, IA- Authorities have identified the victim in a fatal stabbing that occurred in Fort Madison on Tuesday, October 19th 2021.
According to a news release, the victim has been identified as 21-year-old Antwan Lawrence Brewster of Fort Madison.
Brewster was assaulted by an unidentified person armed with a knife in the hallway of a Fort Madison apartment building on Tuesday, October 19th. He later died at a local hospital. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Fort Madison Police Department and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
