Burlington, IA- The Burlington Police Department has announced the arrest of a Louisiana man for multiple counts of burglary.
Over the past several weeks, the Burlington Police Department had received multiple reports of burglaries occurring within the greater Burlington area.
Detectives from the Burlington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division began following up on the complaints and quickly identified 34-year-old Dustin Dewayne Turner of Jonesboro Louisiana as a person of interest.
On Monday, November 15th, 2021, Turner (above) was arrested for an active Des Moines County Warrant for 3rd Degree Burglary. After an Interview, Turner was additionally charged with one count of 2nd Degree Burglary and three counts of 3rd Degree Burglary.
Turner is being held in the Des Moines County Jail on bond pending a court appearance.
