Burlington man arrested for drug trafficking

Burlington, IA-  Authorities have announced the arrest of a Burlington man for drug trafficking.

For the past several months detectives with the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force and the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement (DNE) have been following up on information pertaining to a subject who was trafficking large quantities of narcotics in the greater Burlington area.

On Tuesday, December 14th 2021, authorities executed a search warrant on a residence in the 700 block of Summer Street.

51 year old Timothy Paul Bush of Burlington (above) was arrested for 4 count of Possession with intent to deliver for heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, and Marijuana, three counts of drug tax stamp violation, four counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Maintaining a Drug House.

Bush is being held at the Des Moines County Jail without bond pending a court appearance.
