Burlington, IA- The City of Burlington is now accepting applications for the 2022 Citizens Academy.
The free, nine-week series of classes are designed to teach citizens about how their local government works for them, including tours of local facilities and meeting the people behind the scenes to learn about what goes on day-to-day in different city departments.
Classes will be held weekly from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Thursday evenings for nine weeks starting in February.
Applicants must be 18 or older to attend. Applications will be accepted until February 3rd.
