Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Board of supervisors has approved the allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds.
The Hawk Eye reports that $355,000 of the $7.5 million in ARPA funds will be allocated to Danville Telecom to be used for broadband expansion.
The remainder of the funds will be used by the county as revenue replacement. The motion was passed by the board unanimously.
