
Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Sheriff’s office has arrested a man wanted on multiple warrants.
On Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, Des Moines County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 25-year-old Dallas Michael Garr at 104 W. Division St. #7 in Danville, IA.
Garr was wanted on 15 separate arrest warrants from Des Moines County. Garr was located in apartment #7, at which time he isolated himself in the bedroom, and refused to surrender to deputy’s commands. A Des Moines County K-9 was utilized to locate and detain Garr.
Garr’s warrants stemmed from a parole violation warrant back in September of 2021. Since then, Garr was believed to have been involved in several pursuits within Des Moines County. One of the pursuits ended when Garr crashed a vehicle and fled on foot.
Warrants were then issued for Garr which ranged from Aggravated Eluding Law Enforcement, Reckless Driving, Speed, Stop Sign, One-Way Traffic Violation, Driving on the Wrong Side of 2-lane roadway, Driving Under Suspension, and several other traffic violations. Garr also had an outstanding warrant from Henry County for Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense.
Garr was taken to the Des Moines County Jail with No Bond.
