
Burlington, IA- Authorities have arrested a Burlington man wanted on multiple charges in Illinois.
The Hawk Eye reports that 34-year-old Larry Keith Knotts was arrested on Tuesday, March 15th in McDonough County, Ill two days after leading authorities on a car chase through Burlington.
Knotts was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine, and two counts of obstruction of justice.
Knotts also had active warrants from Des Moines and Henderson County.
On Sunday, March 13th, 2022 Knotts led authorities on a car chase in the Burlington city limits until Officers lost sight of Knotts due to his high speeds and reckless driving.
Knotts was also wanted for Pre-trial violations stemming from original charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and assault with bodily injury, and was also the target of a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking investigation in the Burlington area.
