
Fort Madison, IA- A Burlington man who allegedly assaulted a referee at a Fort Madison basketball tournament has turned himself in.
The Pen City Current reports that 39-year-old Urban Jattelle Morris of Burlington surrendered to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office early Tuesday morning, and was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Morris was wanted on a warrant for misdemeanor serious assault after he allegedly assaulted an official working at a basketball tournament at Fort Madison Middle school.
Morris was ejected from a game for yelling about an official’s calls, and later confronted and allegedly assaulted that official between games.
