Burlington, IA- Burlington Mayor Jon Billups will sign a proclamation today (Monday, May 16th) for Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month with the Alzheimer’s Association Awareness Chapter.
Mayor Billups will sign the proclamation at 5:30 PM Monday, May 16th at Burlington City hall, 400 Washington Street in Burlington.
Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month happens each June to raise awareness and show support for the over 50 million individuals worldwide living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
The Alzheimer’s Association Iowa Chapter will be in attendance to show their support.
