Burlington, IA- A group of local women have organized protests in response to the recent overturning of Roe V Wade.
2 protests have been scheduled to take place Tuesday in Downtown Burlington. The First Protest will take place at the Des Moines County Courthouse at 10 AM. The Second protest will begin at 6 PM at the bottom of Snake Alley and end at the Memorial Auditorium.
Event organizers told the Hawk Eye that the event will be family-friendly and signs are encouraged.
Protesters are asked to remain peaceful and respectful to city property, remain on sidewalks, and not disrupt traffic.
