Jorge L Felix, 48 of West Burlington, died Sunday, July 17, 2022.
Born July 29, 2022 in St Croix, Virgin Islands he was the son of Armando and Irma (Garcia) Felix.
Jorge was of the Catholic faith. He formerly worked for Scott’s Manufacturing in Ft. Madison. He loved baseball and softball and most of all he loved taking care of his children.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Frances Cancel Felix; daughter Jessica Flint of Ames, IA; sons Jorge (Emily) Felix of Burlington, Jay Felix of Ames, IA and Cenio Felix of West Burlington; two grandchildren; brother Armando Felix of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; sisters Elba Felix of Chicago, IL and Joana Felix of Madison, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
There will be no formal services at this time.

Richard Fredrick Siegle, 87, of Oakville, died at 10:20 PM Friday, July 15, 2022, at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

Born September 3, 1934, in Burlington, he was the son of Fred and Lena Frank Siegle. On September 2, 1956, he married Thelma Irene Schulz in Burlington. She passed on January 9, 2012.

He was a graduate of Huron High School.

Farming was Richard’s life. He took great pride in his family’s farm and passed along his love for the land to his children and grandchildren. He was a former 4H Leader and served on many boards, including; Pork Producers, Big River Ethanol Board, Iowa Corn Growers Board and the Local Levee and Drainage. He enjoyed being outdoors and driving in the local antique tractor ride. The most important thing to Richard was his family. He enjoyed supporting his grandchildren and great grandchildren in their activities and watching his family grow.

Survivors include his son, Kirk (Carole) Siegle of Oakville; two daughters, Linda (Jerry) Strawhacker of Johnston, IA, and Kathy (Brett) Kelly of Waunakee, WI; daughter-in-law, Kim Siegle of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Siegle and Phyllis Siegle both of Burlington.

Besides his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Ray and Mark Siegle.

Visitation will be from noon until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mr. Siegle will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Oakville. Memorials have been established for Hospice Compassus and the local antique tractor ride.

George L. Worley, 72, of Lomax, Illinois, passed away at 6:12 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 at his home.
George was born on January 14, 1950 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the son of Albert Levi and Goldie Valentine (Hoskins) Worley.
George attended Dallas City High School. Following high school he served in the U.S. Navy. Upon returning home he worked for Fullerton Lumber Company and Standard of Beaverdale for many years. He also assisted hand digging graves in his younger years. He loved to fish and would often sell his harvest locally.
Survivors include two daughters: Alishia and Rachel Droppers; two sisters-in-law: Bev Worley and Lela Worley; numerous nieces and nephews and a great friend and neighbor: Phil Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Flora Bloom and two brothers: Bill and Lawrence Worley.
A graveside service, with Military Rites, will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Crane Cemetery near Lomax. Friends and family are welcome to gather at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City at 9:15 a.m., where the funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. A memorial fund has been established for the family.
