Fort Madison, IA- The Fort Madison Municipal Airport is making safety upgrades.
TV Station WGEM reports that within the past few weeks, crews have painted two of the airport’s hangers and installed new runway lights.
Airport manager Dave Woodley said that these upgrades should have been made three years ago, but were delayed due to the pandemic.
