Scott Mason resigns from Burlington School Board

Burlington, IA-  A Member of the Burlington School Board has resigned in order to take a new position.

The Hawk Eye reports that board member Scott Mason resigned from the Burlington School Board on November 3rd.

Effective January 1st of 2023, Mason will serve as the District’s Supervisor of transportation, replacing current transportation supervisor Richard Link, who announced his resignation on October 24th.

The school board will appoint a replacement for mason on the board during their meeting on November 21st.  The seat will then be on the ballot in the November 2023 election.
