Macomb, Ill.- The McDonough County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Bushnell, Illinois man in connection with a possible sexual assault.
According to a news release, on Friday, November 11th at about 10:19 AM, McDonough County detectives conducted interviews regarding a possible sexual assault that had taken place over the July 4th weekend.
The female victim, who was under the age of 17, was allegedly assaulted over the 4th of July weekend near Bushnell, Illinois in McDonough County.
Detectives located 26-year-old Thomas J, Hardi of Bushnell at his residence and took him into custody. Hardi is a registered sex offender.
Hardi was assigned a $50,000 bond with 10% to apply.
