Burlington, IA-  The Burlington School Board has appointed a former board president to fill an open seat on the board.

The Hawk Eye reports that on Monday, November 25th, the board voted 4 to 2 to appoint former school board member Brian Bross to fill the open seat on the board.

Bross had served as a board member from 2015 to 2019, also serving as board vice president and president, before losing a re-election bid in 2019.
