Carthage, Ill.- The Lee County narcotics Task Force has announced the arrest of a Carthage, Illinois man on felony drug charges.
On Wednesday, January 25th, 25-year-old Isaac Deshong of Carthage, Illinois was arrested in the 300 block of Hansford Street in Carthage. Deshong was located during the execution of a search warrant and was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant.
Deshong had active warrants for Delivery of More than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine and Drug Tax Stamp Violation. Deshong was then extradited back to the Lee County Correctional Center, where he is being held on bond.
The arrest of Deshong stems from an investigation into allegations that he was involved with the distribution of methamphetamine in Lee County.
