Des Moines, IA- Governor Reynolds announced on Friday, February 17th, that the Director of the Iowa Department of Education is resigning.
In a statement, released Friday, governor Reynolds said that Iowa Department of Education Director Ann Lebo is resigning, effective March 14th.
Lebo joined the Iowa Department of Education in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, March 13th 2020.
In her statement, Governor Reynolds thanked Lebo for her “many contributions to my administration and the Department of Education over the last three years.”
