Burlington Police Department investigating shots fired incident

Burlington, IA-  The Burlington Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Thursday, March 2nd.

According to a news release, on Thursday at about 11:49 PM, Burlington Police Officers responded to the area of Aetna and Marshall Streets regarding a report of shots being overheard.

Officers arrived in the area and located several shell casings near the intersection.  Officers also recovered a bullet from the siding of a nearby home.

Officers didn’t locate anyone related to the shooting and no one was injured.
