Knox County, Ill.- The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was hospitalized as a precaution after their squad car was struck by another vehicle.
According to an online post, a Knox County patrol vehicle was struck by another vehicle while blocking traffic at a fire scene on Knox Highway 8 on Sunday, April 2nd.
One deputy was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
The Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
