Burlington, IA- The City of Burlington has announced that the Spring City Wide Clean-up program will begin Monday, April 17th.
The program lasts from Monday through May 19th. The clean-up program is scheduled according to the trash route. It takes crews 4 to 5 days to collect all of the items from a route, but items must be set out before 7 AM of the set-out date.
The Hawk Eye reports that residences on the Monday pickup route need to have their unwanted items set out by 7 AM Monday, April 17th.
The set-out date for Tuesday’s route is April 25th, Wednesday’s is May 3rd, Thursday’s is May 11th and Friday’s is May 19th.
City crews will not pick up items such as televisions, appliances, construction materials, hazardous liquids, regular garbage or yard waste.
