Burlington, IA-  A Burlington man was sentenced to 60 years in prison Monday, May 8th on multiple charges.

According to a news release, 31-year-old Wesley Chamblee of Burlington was sentenced in Iowa District Court to a total of 60 years in prison following guilty pleas to charges of 2nd Degree Kidnapping, Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury with a Firearm, Intimidation With a Firearm, and 2nd Degree Burglary from Des Moines County, as well as a charge of Attempted Murder from Louisa County.

Chamblee was ultimately arrested in Johnson County after a high-speed pursuit.

Charges related to the pursuit are still pending in Johnson County.
