4 injured in rollover crash in Van Buren County

Cantril, IA-  Four people were injured Friday, June 2nd in a rollover accident in Van Buren County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, at about 10:13 PM Friday a vehicle driven by a 15-year-old juvenile was going northbound in the 2500 block of route V64 north of Cantril.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, which entered a ditch and rolled before coming to rest upright.

The 15-year-old driver and a passenger, 38-year-old Bonita Martin of Milton were both airlifted from the scene and taken to the University of Iowa Hospital for treatment.

Two other passengers, a 2-year-old and a 9-year-old, were taken by ambulance to Van Buren County Hospital.

According to the ISP, both the driver and Martin were not wearing seatbelts.
