Burlington, IA-  The Burlington Bees have announced that their home game scheduled for Friday, June 9th has been canceled.

According to a news release, the Bees were scheduled to play the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes at Community Field at 6:30 PM Friday.

On the second pitch of the game Thursday evening between Burlington and Springfield, the game was halted after a Horseshoes player was struck by a line drive.
