West Burlington, IA- The West Burlington Police Department is raising money to bring a K9 unit to their department.
According to a news release, the West Burlington Police Department is beginning the process to bring a dual-purpose K9 unit to the community.
The goal of the campaign is to raise $70,000 for the purchase of a K9, equipment, vet fees, training for the K9 and trainer, and other expenses.
In-person donations can be made at West Burlington City Hall from 8 AM until 5 PM Monday through Friday.
Checks can be made payable to the West Burlington Police Department, with Police K9 Fund in the memo section. Checks can be mailed to 122 Broadway Street, West Burlington, Iowa 52655.
