Oquawka, Ill.- The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after deputies discovered a deceased man’s body.
According to a news release, at 10:25 AM Saturday, July 29th, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check at 2348 County Highway 3 in Oquawka. Upon arrival, the resident, 44-year-old Michael D. Louck was found deceased.
The death is being investigated by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, along with agents from the Illinois State Police Investigations, ISP Crime Scene, Henderson County Coroner’s Office, and the Oquawka Police Department.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing, and there is no immediate threat to the public.
