Trial set for man charged in Macomb house party shooting

Macomb, Ill.-  A trial date has been set for a Macomb man charged with murder in connection with a shooting that left one person dead and 10 others injured.

The trial for 26-year-old Demond Wilson Jr. has been set for September 18th.

TV Station WGEM reports that Wilson was arrested on March 30th and charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.

The charges stem from a shooting in the 500 block of North Johnson Street, which resulted in the death of 26-year-old Jerman Beathea of Chicago.
