
Burlington, IA- Authorities are investigating the cause of a structure fire that occurred Sunday, August 20th in Burlington.
According to a news release, at about 12:30 PM Sunday, the Burlington and West Burlington Fire Departments responded to a report of a structure fire at 212 South 10th Street in Burlington.
Firefighters arrived at 12:35 PM to find a vacant, two-story duplex with fire showing from the first floor.
The rental property, owned by Dennis Wilson, was vacant due to a recent fire to the adjoining side duplex and is considered a total loss. No injuries were reported.
The fire is considered suspicious and is under investigation by the Burlington Fire and Police departments.
