Davenport man sentenced to prison for methamphetamine charges

Davenport, IA-  A Davenport man was sentenced Wednesday, September 6th, to 10 years in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

According to court documents, 49 year old David Roy Bolinger was identified as a person distributing methamphetamine in the Davenport area during 2022.  On April 14th of 2022, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Bolinger’s residence in Davenport.

Law enforcement recovered about one once of methamphetamine.

Bolinger admitted to officers that he knowingly took part in a conspiracy to distribute at least 50 grams of actual methamphetamine with other individuals.

Following his term of imprisonment, Bolinger will be required to complete five years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
